We at Bible Baptist Church are glad to have you visit our web site, and pray that it will be a blessing to you. We are an unaffiliated, independent Baptist church, patterned after the church Jesus built during His personal, earthly ministry.

We believe - and as pastor of the church, I preach - salvation by grace, through repentance and faith, apart from works; the eternal security of the believer; the authority of the inspired, inerrant and preserved Word of God (in English, the Authorized Bible - King James Version); the autonomy and authority of the local, Scriptural, New Testament church, which is the True Body of Christ; the Deity of Jesus Christ; the Blood Atonement; the pre-tribulation, pre-millennial Rapture of all the saints; the importance of holiness for all God's people, as evidenced in a lifestyle that is separated from the modern trends (dress, deportment, music); and the responsibility of local, New Testament churches to carry out the Great Commission. We believe that God would have ALL people to be saved ("Whosoever").

We believe John the Baptist was the first Baptist, and that Jesus Christ endorsed the authority and validity of John's baptism as Scriptural, believer's baptism; that Christ Himself started His Church- the local, visible assembly at Jerusalem- and that all other "bodies of Christ" in all localities should follow its pattern, in polity and doctrine. We believe that the local church is the largest entity that God ordained and the Scriptures endorse, and that all "para-church" institutions are operating unscripturally.
